This recipe can be made in 2 ways in terms of dealing with the servo mods. The ideal way of doing this project is by just doing the normal 360 servo mod but in my case my servos internal electronics were broken so I had to use a Xadow motor driver to drive the motors. Anyways I will explain as we proceed
I based the wheels from my old 4WD Tamiya cars so if you have those lying around then most likely it will fit anyways Download the stl Files here if you are interested.
In my case the electronics inside the servo where busted So in this case I will remove the electronics inside except for the potentiometer. Your second option will just be modding the servo the normal way therefore removing the need for the Xadow motor driver and replacing it with a breakout module. Anyways like all mods we will just cut off the stopper that's limiting its 360-degree movement.
Get some zip ties and just put your servo's in its respective slots For the wheels you may need to apply some super glue to keep the wheel intact to the servo head.
It's a really simple program in fact i did not even bother thinking much about it anyways use your skills to further improve this thing.
If you are working with a functioning servo I guess you will have to create your own program to do this
After uploading the program feel free to put it in place for my situation I did not bother doing so
I'm not really a program developer so I just used whatever is available.
I just followed everything in there and then at the last part just type in your commands
The program I made is design to control the robot in this way"a"= Forward"s"=Right"d"=LEFT
your commands maybe sent in this format"a"only means forward or"aaaaasaaaa"Forward for some time then right for a short time then forward again. You can create more commands or recreate the program I made to satify your needs.
