Art is always a complicated thing for most of us, but admit it or not, the artists never fails to enrich our lives and brings us happiness.
As an engineer I never thought a simple DC motor could be related to anything artistic. But thanks to our in-house artist Shihui Wang, with a sheaf of colour pencils, a wooden disc, a DC motor and a Seeed Tech-box, she presented us her handy work : The Art of Spinning.
Make it
As I mentioned above, to make the 'spinning art' , you would have to need the following parts:
1. Wooden dic X 1
2. Grove - Joint X 1
3. Color pencils
4. Grove - Touch sensor X 1
5. 9 V battery X 1
6. Grove - Universal 4 Pin Buckled Cables
Get every thing ready and follow the instructions in the video.
Please be carefull do not to hurt yourself by the rotating motor. XD
Spin it and Draw on it
Turn on the power, draw whatever you like on the spinning disc, and enjoy the spinning art.
Warning: Staring too long would result in irretrievable consequences like being sucked into the vortex. Just kidding XD
