As a little surprise of the Coming Halloween, the Evil Pumpkin Robot (EPR) desires candy pretty much. When night comes, it will shake the creepy fingers and chase people with screaming and lights blinking.
If you want to get rid of the robot, you need to open the pumpkin's head and put candy in. The robot will get pleased with candy and release you to chase another people. LOL.

The robot has two hands which can shake every creepy fingers.
The hands are made of plank. We decide to laser-cut the materials.
Create the dwg file(Download). Cut the wood to get all the materials.
Assembly of all the materials with gears, bearings and shafts. Make sure the fingers can be motivated by the shaft.
Assemble the motors on the hands.
The body of robot is actually a car controlled by arduino, that moves the robot and carries the hands. We used a tricycle and laser-cut some wood shield to make the robot looks like a pumkin. The car is drived by the back unicycle. There are two ultra sonic sensors in the face of the robot, which can sense people to chase. On the top of the body there is a hole to put candy in. The robot will sense the candy put in and stop to chase another people. We also add a recorder and speaker to make the robot screaming.
